My name is Erika Lynn Schmidt and I am a born and raised
Fallston girl. Although, when you
ask me what I call home I will answer the volleyball court. Home is an escape, a
place to relax and find peace—I have found that on the court. For the five
years I played competitively it was my home; now my home has become something
different. I’m a coach at St. Paul's. I am on the sidelines coaching a new generation as they find their home, but I
am still close enough that I find comfort in being there.
